Who needs toys when you have a cardboard box and a canvas bag?

We are all set for our big house move next week and we have been surrounded by boxes for the past fortnight. It's really getting on my nerves and I can't wait to clear the place out! One member of the household is not complaining and that's our little Grumpinator.

JC's toys are one of the few things we haven't packed up yet but he really couldn't care less about his toys. He would much rather play with the empty boxes or more accurately he likes to empty the boxes that I have already packed, very irritating! Today he decided his household toy of choice would be my mini canvas shopping bag. He put the bag over his head and ran around the livingroom trying to terrorise the dogs. He has developed a fascination for wearing things on his head, funniest of 'things' was a pair of my pants (clean ones).

Here is a clip of his bag hat for your viewing pleasure  . . .

  1. Aw bless him! So lovely to hear you are almost ready for the big move - hope it goes well.

Love how you're running after him saying "be careful". Kids really don't have any fear do they?

    Good luck next week!

  3. Christmas should be fun with the new toys discarded and the boxes become the height of festive entertainment!

  6. Thanks Alyson. I am really looking forward to moving. Even though I know it will be a challenge it will be worth it in the long run!

  7. “He would much rather play with the empty boxes or more accurately he likes to empty the boxes that I have already packed” – I wonder how long it took for you to finish packing up your things. Haha! It so funny and I imagine my son doing it too. :D We’re about to move out next month. Good luck to us!
