I can officially reveal that I am leaving the comfort of school for the chaos and mayhem of nursery next year. I will be the nursery teacher for 2 days a weeks and it is extremely out of my comfort zone. My most comfortable year group to teach is P4 - 7 but before I fell pregnant I moved down to P2 (5 -6 yr olds). It was a hugely difficult year for me but I had oodles of fun. When I spoke about coming back to work for 3 days a week, I mentioned that I would like a go at nursery. I will still be working in school (P2) for one day a week so I will still keep a semblance of sanity.
I went back to work today for the Nursery Open Day and JC spent the day with Daddy at Deep Sea World. He had a ball and although I missed him, I survived and was too busy to dwell on missing him. We are a step closer to getting our house on the market but it is totally hectic at the moment. Hopefully the next few days will be a bit more relaxing.
Eeeek I can't imagine having to deal with a room full of children that weren't my own! Brave lady!
