For lunch we had some delicious homemade hummus with rice cake and pitta bread dippers. Yum Yum. I have never made hummus before but I was surprised how easy it was. JC loved it and ate it all at super fast speed.
Auntie Kate came for tea and we had a lovely meal together with JC joining us. We all ate the same, tomato chicken with potato wedges and mixed veg. Kate looked rather perturbed when I told her she was getting baby food for tea! I hope she wasn't too disappointed!
We are still practising our sitting up skills and I managed to get a decent photo of him today . . .
Aww, cute photos! Because I let my little one have breakfast out of her highchair I'm forever finding bits of dried (concrete) Weetabix in the carpet.
ReplyDeleteWe bought him a coverall bib and it's making all the difference! He loves his Weetabix so much!
ReplyDeleteI still have him on baby rice and he's 8 months.... oooops I guess that's wrong. x
ReplyDeleteThey are all so different though! We decided to go straight to finger foods at 6 months and it's worked for us but it's not like that for everyone. JC's sleeping has really improved since he started eating a wide range of foods due to the energy required in learning to eat I think. He stills breastfeeds the same amount, the hasn't changed!
