There's nothing like Petites Filous in the neck line and carrots behind the ears!

Our plans yesterday were all to pot because JC is choked with cold so swimming was off the menu. He is still choked full of it today. However, JC slept his first proper full night, night before last (17th), which was such a proud moment!

This weaning business can be so messy! I feed him, then clean him up with several baby wipes and a wet flannel only to find bits of carrots behind his ears several hours later. It's funny how he seems to really enjoy being covered in food. He was loving the petite filous yesterday and seemed to be enjoying the smearing of it all over his face. Lovely.

What I do hate is the cleaning up afterwards. I think that regardless of what highchair you buy, it should be one that you can put in the shower and hose down after every meal. Lovely cushioned ones look great and are comfy but they are a nightmare to clean! I don't think I'll ever get the carrot stains out!
